Travis Pitts is freelance illustrator and designer in North Carolina who is best known for his illustrations paying tribute to his love of “old sci-fi, robots, zombies, giant monsters and pin-ups.”

I’ve been getting a kick out of his tongue-in-cheek guide “6 Rules of Modern Poster Design,” which dryly canonizes the dearth of creativity in recent mainstream film advertising.
