Fake Magazine Covers from Bladerunner
Say what you will about Ridley Scott’s output in recent years (“It’s an invitation…to find a better script”), but 1982’s Bladerunner remains one of the most influential sci-fi flicks of all time.
A big part of its charm is in its elaborate set pieces which completely immerse the viewer in its grimy, noirish vision of the future.
Apparently no detail was spared, as demonstrated by these fake newsstand magazine covers designed by Tom Southwell:
It’s good to see that, in this future at least, the print medium is not dead and that our beloved Roy Batti doesn’t have to hop online in order to indulge in any ogling.
