These playful and provocative portraits are part of ‘Kesh Angels, an exhibition at Taymour Grahne Gallery by Moroccan-born, UK-based artist Hassan Hajjaj.
The exhibition pays homage to the motorcycle culture of Marrakesh while also serving as a springboard to subvert stereotypes and play with the associations that global brands have in everyone’s lives.
‘Kesh Angels runs through March 7th. Learn more at the Taymour Grahne Gallery website, in addition there is a great NPR interview with Hassan Hajjaj where he discusses the inception of the project.
