Caine’s Arcade – A Short Film by Nirvan Mullick

“9 year old Caine Monroy, who built an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad’s used auto parts store, is about to have the best day of his life.”

A fitting intro to Caine’s Arcade, an incredibly heartening short film directed by Nirvan Mullick and produced by LA-based creative agency Interconnected:

Watching this made my day. One cannot help but be charmed and inspired by Caine’s insatiable drive to create, as well as Nirvan Mullick’s will to document, celebrate and mobilize people to support his friend.

The events of the film also serve as yet another reminder of how useful and empowering social media and community-oriented sites like Reddit can be in terms of informing and rallying people around a cause.
