Halloween is almost upon us and with it comes this little gem from Annette Jung of the Berlin-based animation studio Talking Animals. It’s the opening scene from Thriller, re-created as a Lego stop-motion short:

Each frame was painstakingly rendered by hand using actual Lego pieces, for a pixelated, 80s-throwback vibe. Pretty neat stuff. We also appreciate Jung’s re-imagining of the scene’s sequence of events—gleefully ghoulish!
